Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update
February 2025
Dear Praying
Friends
At the
moment we are raising funds for a refrigerated trailer for the outreach work of
our good friend Nelu in Romania. We
trust in God that we will raise however much is needed.
Do pray for
NELU & his wife CRISTINA as they work hard reaching out to an increasing
number of needy people – the need is always greatest in the winter months. Pray
God provides all the funds and resources they need for their outreach and for
their family.
Also in
Romania we ask your prayers for ALEX & his team of volunteers who work on a
number of projects to alleviate poverty and offer opportunities. Alex is also
the one who deals with the paperwork for the aid consignments we send to
Romania and liaises with our friends in Ukraine. Pray for the smooth running
and lack of hold-ups as Alex will have a team from USA with him shortly who
will be working on various building projects.
Over the
border into Ukraine, please remember TUDOR in your prayers as he regularly
takes a team of volunteers to the war zone to distribute food, clothing,
medication and in the Christmas trip there were some Christmas shoeboxes. Pray
for their SAFETY as they travel and that they will be a source of
encouragement. Each time before they leave they pray for safety and on their
return give thanks for the Lord’s protection
Can we
encourage you to pray for wisdom and fairness as people work for PEACE in
Ukraine.
In Jersey we
ask for your prayers for some of our past volunteers a number of whom have
various health problems. Pray for wisdom as we plan ahead and look at the best
way to use both people and funding resources and opportunities.
During this
last week another UK based charity contacted me asking for help and advice as
they had run into major problems with inadequate paperwork meaning their truck
full of humanitarian aid was stuck at the Romanian Ukrainian border. I was able
to give them phone numbers, and suggest who might be able to advise and
certainly I did pray. I was delighted to hear that after a delay of several
days their aid consignment arrived in Ukraine this morning. Thanks be to God.
Please
continue to bless us with your prayers
Yours in
Christ
Rose
