Mustard Seed Jersey Prayer Update January 2022
Dear Praying Friends
A new year is often a time when we stop and reassess, looking back
and looking forward.
We can certainly look back with
THANKFULNESS. Eventually after a huge amount of difficulty and uncertainty we
were able to send the Christmas Shoeboxes to Romania along with a couple of
tons of warm clothing and blankets
I personally am grateful for and pray
Gods blessing on those people who helped me with the
extremely challenging paperwork!
Increasing bank charges and
increasing transport costs have made us look again at what we do to try to
streamline and become more efficient. We are seeking advice from Romania. At
this stage no firm decisions are made but we really would be grateful for your
prayers for WISDOM.
We understand the weather is very
cold now in Romania so please do pray for those pensioners and poor families
that we are assisting. We were blessed with money during our Christmas appeal
and we in turn have been able to bless some of the poorest with food parcels
bread and winter fuel.
We ask for your prayers for GOOD
HEALTH and STRENGTH for all the social workers we work with in Romania.
Looking back on how our prayers were answered
Last time we asked for your prayers
ABIEL for successful surgery and we
give thanks to God for a good outcome.
VIORICA and her daughter DARIA. Nelu the social worker tells us that Daria is doing very
well at kindergarten. Her mother Viorica is still
recovering from the trauma of her previous life and is determined to move
forward. Please thank God for the progress and continue to pray for them.
Nelu also asks for our
prayers of thankfulness for The Changed Lives project for how this ministry
sees many good changes and developments in people’s lives. And he asks for
WISDOM TO SUSTAIN AND DEVELOP this ministry.
- Nelu says
he has a dream to replace the portercabins, trailers
and containers with brick buildings. This is a huge project! He asks for prayer
and provision if this is of God.
- God to stop this PANDEMIC - this
winter many people died in Romania, including a number of our sponsored
pensioners.
Please do continue to bless us with your prayer support both the
ongoing work and workers in Romania and the volunteers in Jersey,
Yours in Christ
Rose
