Letter
of Thanks sent to Jersey Evening Post April 2012
From Mustard
Seed Jersey Co Ordinator
On
behalf of Mustard Seed Jersey and the 6 recipient charities in Oradea, Romania
may I say a sincere THANK YOU to all who made our recent aid consignment possible. Fundatia Crestina Vineyard emailed me to say “Many thanks for all
you sent. We have been able to bless so many people as we have distributed what
we received from Jersey” The email continued asking me to thank all who had
made it possible.
Firstly
we thank the public for their generosity in giving funds and goods, then we thank the 4 churches All Saints, St Peters, St Marys
and St Lukes for acting as our collecting places and
also Holme Grown Farm Shop. Next we thank the
volunteers (without whom Mustard Seed Jersey could not function) who give their
time to collect, sort, pack, load, repair, drive, raise funds, pray and many
other tasks. We are so grateful to our landlords Vernon Helie,
Seymour Hotels, Liz Marks for storage, packing facilities and parking. We thank
those businesses who have recently assisted our work by generous discount and
occasional “freebies”, especially Channel Island Tyre Company, Paperclix and Emile Goaziou.
Thinking
specifically of this recent aid consignment, we do thank Condor Logistics for
their help moving the trailer, Sutton Commercials for checking the trailer,
Condor Ferries for their generous discount, our drivers Graeme and David, BAG
for giving us exemption on the toll roads in Germany, Michel Desmot in St Malo for all his
help and support, Herve Godard of Sarl
Godard also in St Malo for free use of a tractor
unit.
To
one and all may I say “multumim” which means “we thank you” in Romanian.
